  • Best travel time? April to October. But even outside this period you can have a great time in the country, for example with a nice city trip to Florence, Milan or Rome!
  • How many days? Italy is a popular vacation country in Europe. You can see and do an awful lot there! In Tuscany alone you will need a week to explore the main sights. So plan at least a week per region to explore it!

  • Public transportation? Italy has an extensive network of rail lines. For example, the high-speed line, the Frecciarossa, gets you from Milan to Rome in 3.5 hours. However, this high-speed line is more expensive than regular intercity and regional trains. For tickets, you pay a lot less for this than in our country.
