Tam Sui is a nice little town north of the capital city of Taipei. It is ideal for a day trip to explore a number of historical sites. Among other things you can visit Fort San Domingo (see photo). This fort was built by the Dutch, after the Spaniards destroyed their fort on this spot before they were chased away by the VOC. In addition you will find English churches, department stores, Japanese castles and interesting museums. So let’s go to Tam Sui…!
