Si Phan Don, or the 4000 Islands are located in the far south of Laos. It consists of a large number of islands in the Mekong River and is a fantastic place to discover the beautiful nature of the country. For example, you can explore the islands here by bike, you will find some beautiful waterfalls, you can visit the Irriwaddy dolphins or you can kayak and swim in the Mekong River. The most famous islets are Don Det, Don Khong and Don Khone. But wherever you stay, the nature in this area is truly beautiful. Let’s go to Si Phan Don …!
